This is the final evaluation times for the upcoming evaluation dates that are set for the 4th, 7th and 11th. At this time, it looks like we will have 2 teams for Bantam (A Team and a Development Team), 2 teams for Peewee (A team and a development team), and 2 Teams for Novice (balanced). There is a good chance that we will have up to 3 teams for peewee and novice but we will confirm this towards mid-march.
Please ensure that each player attend a minimum of 2 evaluations as set by the corresponding schedule. We also ask that all players be a minimum of 15 minutes in advance so that we can provide them with their pinnie, number and check them in. All players MUST wear this pinnie so the evaluators can confirm the player. We also ask that ALL goalies be prepared with a jersey so that they can be evaluated effectively.

Please find attached information on the TOS Program as well as a Program Director Co-Ordinator Overview. As we will be looking to develop a U15 & U13 Elite Team within TOS, we are seeking applications for a program director for each division. This person will report direct to Kari Gares and/or Martin Gardner to ensure consistency throughout the program. If you are interested in getting involved or know of someone who would be a fit for our Organization, please have them send in a resume or credentials along with a brief bio outlining why they wish to get involved. The successful applicant must be willing to commit a minimum of 2 years, be willing to participate in joint calls and meetings, and possess a clear mandate of furthering the development of all players and continue to promote the game of lacrosse. Please send out an email notification to your members advising of this opportunity. We are requesting that all applications be emailed, mailed or dropped off no later than February 20th as we are currently arranging for evaluations this coming Spring.
Martin and I are extremely dedicated to furthering this program and will be ensuring that each successful candidate upholds TOS’s philosophy. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us direct. We look forward to a successful 2017 season.
On a side note: We are happy to announce that our U18 Team competed in San Francisco this past January, winning 4 of their 5 games. TOS has proven that the Interior of BC holds significant talent with many players representing all minor associations within the Thompson Okanagan/Interior region. These boys played with passion and dedication. We are hopeful that our continued development and presence will have a long term positive impact within the sport of lacrosse.
